Mark the text, click Advanced and Ungroup To Letters. You need to do this via the Advanced Tool located in the top toolbar. To kern the font, you need to first ungroup the font. This can be used, but it does not give you as good of a result as what kerning does. To adjust this, some might look at the Letter Space option that Cricut Design Space offers. The letters are all spaced out and not at all connected, which is often not what you want with a script font. In the image below you can see what the font looks like when it isn’t yet kerned. To give you an example, we have picked the font Bougainvillea Script. Script fonts often end up looking nothing like the font preview when you use them in Cricut Design Space, if you do not adjust the kerning.
